Inner-City: Out of Place was designed to challenge the possibilities of contemporary exhibition design and Post-Studio practice. With no physical site to attend, measure, design or curate, this exhibition takes a step towards representing and understanding a turn of abstraction in contemporary exhibition design and curation.
CONCEPT
DESIGN
The urban environment is built up by character. Each element that exists within its space showcases an identity specific to its population.
With no physical environment to gain an understanding or inspiration from, using the artist statements and artwork was key to the uniqueness of this exhibition.
