Lois Emma Harkin - Founder of Stay Connected
Freelance artist, exhibition designer and curator
Artist, designer, curator
Lois Emma Harkin is an artist, freelance exhibition designer and curator. Since launching Stay Connected in 2020, Lois has connected over two hundred artists and have collaborated with celebrated artists, galleries, exhibition designers and magazines. In the past year, Lois has designed, curated and published eight successful group exhibitions and is currently working on expanding the platform in collaboration with other creative professionals to enhance engagement and content.
Collaboration is at the foreground of Lois' design and curatorial practice. She believes that the presentation of artwork can be best represented and engaged with when the designer, curator and artists are in collaboration with each other. Another element of focus is engaging the audience. Contemporary art resembles a time where art must be experienced - virtual exhibition platforms are no different. Through design, Lois believes that you can inspire, educate and expand creative ideas into immersive environments and frameworks that enhance artworks and the way the audience connects with them.
